Meet your future representative.
My name is Alec Stevens and it is my honor to be fighting to represent you, your families, our community, and our God in congress. First things first, I am a born again believer and I believe that I have been called to serve our Lord Jesus Christ in congress. I have a burden, as an American, to fight to restore what this country has lost.
I also fight to make sure we have a nation and a heritage to pass down to our children. I have a growing family and when I look at the state of the nation I don't know if we will be able to pass down this beautiful county if we continue on the same course. As a young man I struggled with my familial identity, until my mother told me I was "as American as apple pie," that never left me. Unfortunately, too many Americans would rather associate with any other county than the one they, and their families came from. When I see our nation, I see a land worth fighting and praying for. That's exactly what I will do as your representative.
Lastly, but most importantly, if you don't know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and unsure if you will spend the rest of eternity with him in Heaven or in a place called Hell, you can know for sure. Firstly, you need to see your personal need for a savior. The Bible says in Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" we cannot possibly be good enough to earn a place in heaven. "The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Wages are something you earn. When you work a job you expect your wages at the end of the pay period and because of our sin we have earned death (or separation from God) in a place called Hell for all eternity. A gift must be freely given unless it isn't a gift. You cannot work to earn a gift, all you can do with a gift is to receive it or deny it. The way to receive the gift of eternal life is very simple: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). I pray that if you haven't called upon the name of the Lord you will, for nobody is guaranteed tomorrow.
